The mission of the Wahconah Regional High School Counseling Department is to provide a structured comprehensive and developmental program in order to assist students in their personal, academic and career development. In partnership with other educators, parents or guardians, and the community, school counselors are professional school advocates who provide support to maximize student potential and academic achievement. Our Counseling program is designed to ensure that all students at Wahconah have access to and are prepared with the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute as productive members of society.
The WRHS Guidance Department will always offer students a friendly hello and a face of reassurance when needed. It is a place to check in, or check out for a moment. Wahconah's College and Career Center is a network of support for students' academic, social, personal and career successes.
